An internship at Written Rock will introduce you to all aspects of a small literary publisher, and will give you skills that can also easily transfer to larger publishing houses and other careers, both in the arts and elsewhere.
This is intended as a fixed-length, educational experience and should not be interpreted as job training. Interns are not entitled to or guaranteed employment upon the completion of the internship, but they are welcome to apply for open positions at any time.
Written Rock is a global company so diverse experiences and viewpoints are very important to us.
We encourage applicants of all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, gender and sexual identities, and disability statuses to apply.
We will break applicants down into three groups going forward: Professional Interns, Motivational Interns, and Content Creators.
A Professional Intern has skills and previous experience in the literary industry and will likely be placed in a specific department utilizing your skills. A Motivational Intern is someone interested in the industry but don't know where they'd fit in. Both are equally welcome.
Content Creator is kinda self explanatory; you create content.
