A Wonderful Prize
For a long time, he had felt a deep sense of emptiness within him, as if he was searching for something but didn't know what it was.
He had tried to fill the void with material possessions and social status, but nothing seemed to make a lasting impact.
Eventually, he realized that he needed to take a step back and reassess his life.
He decided to go on a journey of self-discovery, to find out who he really was and what he truly wanted in life.
He left behind his comfortable life and set out into the unknown, with nothing but a backpack and a sense of adventure.
Wandering aimlessly for days on end, he felt a sense of purpose that he had never experienced before. It felt like he was on a journey to discover himself, and he relished the feeling of uncertainty and unpredictability.
At first, he had no idea where he was going or what he was looking for. He travelled across vast plains and through dense forests, always moving forward without a destination in mind. But one day, he stumbled upon a cabin in the middle of nowhere, with a mysterious note that read "walk." It seemed like a sign from a higher power, urging him to keep moving forward, and he took it as a sign to continue his journey with renewed vigour.
With every step he took, he felt more and more convinced that he was meant to find something. Though he didn't know what "it" was, he was determined to keep going until he found it. He encountered various challenges along the way, from scorching deserts to treacherous mountains. But he persevered, surviving on nothing but the bare necessities and his own inner strength.
Despite encountering other travelers on the road, he kept to himself and never stopped to talk to them. He was resolute in his mission, and he knew he had to keep moving if he wanted to achieve his destiny. And then one day, he came across a broken-down factory and felt drawn to it. He spoke the words "Let me enter, my lord," and to his surprise, the doors opened.
Inside the factory, he found a box with the label "Agent 20001452," containing a picture frame with an old photograph of a family.
He recognized the man in the picture but couldn't remember where he had seen him before. He explored the factory until he came to a door with the mark of the creator on it. He knew he had to enter, and inside, he found a massive computer screen and a small CD case with a DVD inside.
He inserted the DVD and watched as the man in the photo appeared on the screen. He introduced himself as Austin, the Creator, and explained that the man was not human but a clone created as part of a study to produce Super Beings. Austin revealed that he had created 1000 clones of himself, but only 650 remained as they were being hunted down. The man realized he was one of the clones and that his purpose was to continue Austin's legacy.
With this knowledge, the man embraced his destiny and continued his journey, encountering other clones along the way.
