Yes, you read that right—the audience gets to participate too! The best part is, this hypnosis comedy show is all about raising funds for the Community Crew.

Dave Merheje is considered to be one of the most original standup voices on the comedy scene today. His multiple award-winning act has gained a loyal following across North America with his “no fear” approach on stage and a comedy style best described as aggressive in-your-face funny. Dave had his first comedy special air in Australia on ABC2. His second special “Good Friend Bad Grammar“ won the 2019 Juno Award for Comedy Album of the year. His third special “Beautifully Manic,” can be seen on Netflix as part of Comedians of the World, and his fourth special titled “I Love You Habibi” recently premiered on Crave TV this summer.
Dave is a regular at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and has made multiple appearances at JFL42 in Toronto, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia, and tours clubs and theatres regularly. Martha Chaves is an award-winning comedian, writer, and actor whose career spans over two decades. Now Magazine described her as "smart, sassy, provocative, and very funny." Martha has appeared multiple times at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and the We Are Funny That Way Festival, to name a few. Martha describes herself as the "most famous Nicaraguan-Canadian LGBTQ+ stand-up comedian in the world," but despite being an act of such a unique nature, she’s hilariously relatable, universally funny and accessible. She tours from coast-to-coast as a headliner for Yuk-Yuks (Canada’s premiere chain of comedy clubs) and is also in high demand for corporate performances, conferences, and speaking engagements. She can frequently be heard on CBC's The Debaters and Laugh Out Loud.
She is a regular panellist on the popular CBC show Because News. Martha also starred in two TV specials which were broadcast nationally: Comics! on CBC and Something About Martha on CTV and the Comedy Network. Martha was named 2018's Stand-up Comic of the Year by the Canadian Comedy Awards after being nominated seven years in a row, and her CD CHUNKY SALSA was included in a list of 2019's best comedy records. During the pandemic, she created a multi-media piece Living 'La Covida Loca, which premiered online at The Hillside Festival. She also created "Beyond the Mask," another multi-media piece that was featured in "Caminos" as part of the Aluna Theatre Festival 2021 program. In 2022, she was asked to perform at the Stratford Festival. As a playwright, Martha has written and acted in several successful one-woman shows. "Staying Alive" and "In Times of Trouble" were featured in the Soulo Festival and the Aluna Theatre Festival in Toronto, respectively. He is a comedian who first began his comedy journey in grade school, using humor as a form of self-defense. Over thirty years later, he took the plunge and performed at an open mic in Vancouver as an adult, and he hasn't looked back since. Throughout his career, he's had the opportunity to open for well-known comedians such as Ronny Chieng, Joel Kim Booster, K. Trevor Wilson, River Butcher, and Matt Braunger. His comedic talents have been featured on platforms like Sirius/XM and CBC radio, and he's also graced the stages of renowned comedy festivals such as the Halifax Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Just For Laughs in Montreal.

Frank Spadone began working amateur and open mic nights in Toronto in 1997, constantly building his material and starting to create a buzz. In less than a year he would perform in his first professional spot. Soon he was headlining at the top comedy clubs in Toronto and then taking his act to many other cities across Canada.
