Apart from unveiling fresh artwork, the Project Dewdrop podcast is undergoing a transformation, or perhaps a metamorphosis is a better way to put it. It's challenging to divulge all the details without spoiling the surprise. In the previous episode, Drew dispatched Dewdrop on "A Secret Mission" involving time travel, and we're continuing this storyline, which will serve as the gateway to the revamped show. Rest assured, every previous episode will remain accessible and will remain a part of the official Project Dewdrop Timeline. Now, I understand this might sound a bit peculiar, but let's remember that this is "A Silly Little Show," and we've always been candid about that fact.
If you're new to the podcast, let me give you a brief introduction. Project Dewdrop has undergone multiple incarnations throughout its existence and has solidified itself as the cornerstone of all we do. It was Audioh Canada's very first Original Series and, in a way, embodies elements from all our other podcasts. It was, in fact, the wellspring of inspiration for all the others.
When we first embarked on this journey, we weren't the most polished, and that journey is evident in the episodes. However, it also reflects our learning process as the show evolved. I often advise people who aspire to venture into podcasting but doubt their abilities to simply start and learn along the way. You can witness our progress by comparing our first episode to one of our latest ones, and that transformation has occurred in less than a year, from January 15, 2023, to the current date in November of the same year.
I always point out the first episode of the Joe Rogan Experience as a prime example. Despite being the biggest podcast in the world now, its initial episode had an unmistakably amateurish vibe, featuring a simple webcam and Joe Rogan spinning around in an office chair. There was even a flash animation of snow falling down the screen. The key takeaway is that Joe had something important to say, and he evolved into the juggernaut he is today. You have the potential to do the same.
This is why, even though we are rebooting our podcast, we won't erase our history, much like how the JRE's first episode is still available to this day. These episodes represent the very source of inspiration for KNUX: A Hip Hop Podcast and Inner-Views with Drew.
Speaking of the Inner-Views with Drew podcast, some may have noticed that it's hosted by Drew, whereas the other podcasts are hosted by Dewdrop. This distinction is by design, and the Project Dewdrop Podcast will provide further insight into this.
We had initially aimed to release this podcast last weekend, but it has been postponed a few days to work on an exciting new song. So, let's join in celebrating the rejuvenation, in a sense, of Audioh Canada's first-ever podcast. If you thought the show was peculiar before, brace yourself because it's going to double down on that very peculiarity, just as many of you requested. We're here to listen.
